“Teach me Your decrees, Oh Lord; I will keep them to the end. Give me the understanding and I will obey Your instructions; I will put them into practice with all my heart. Make me walk along the path of Your commands, for that is where my happiness is found. Give me an eagerness for Your laws rather than the love for money! Turn my eyes from worthless things, and give me life though Your word. Reassure me of Your promise, made to those who fear You. Help me abandon my shameful ways; for Your regulations are good. I long to obey Your commandments! Renew my life with Your goodness.” (vv. 33-40, NLT)

“I lie in dust; revive me by Your word. I told You my plans, and You answered. Now teach me Your decrees. Help me understand the meaning of your commandments, and I will meditate on Your wonderful deeds. I weep with sorrow; encourage me by Your word. Keep me from lying to myself; give me the privilege of knowing Your instructions. I have chosen to be faithful; I have determined to live by Your regulations. I cling to Your laws, Lord, don’t let me be put to shame! I will pursue Your commands, for You expand my understanding.” (vv. 25-32, NLT)

“Be good to your servant, that I may live and obey Your word. Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths of Your instructions. I am only a foreigner in the land. Don’t hide Your commandments from me! I am always overwhelmed with a desire for Your regulations. You rebuke the arrogant; those who wander from Your commands are cursed. Don’t let them scorn and insult me, for I have obeyed Your laws. Even princes sit and speak against me, but I will meditate on Your decrees. Your laws please me; they give me wise advice.” (vv. 17-24) NLT

“How can a young person stay pure? By obeying Your word. I have tried hard to find You- don’t let me wander from Your commands. I have hidden Your word in my heart, that I might not sin against You. I praise You, O Lord; teach me Your decrees. I have recited aloud all the regulations You have given us. I have rejoiced in Your laws as much as in riches. I will study Your commandments and reflect on Your ways. I will delight in Your decrees and not forget Your word.” (vv. 9-16, NLT)

Psalm 119 is a unique book. It has 22 sections, denoting the letters of the Hebrew alphabet. It is the longest book in the Bible, with 176 verses. Each of the sections have 8 verses.

“Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the Lord. Joyful are those who obey His Laws and search for Him with all their hearts. They do not compromise with evil and they walk only in His paths. You have charged us to keep Your commandments carefully. Oh, that my actions would consistently reflect Your decees! Then I will not be ashamed when I compare my life with Your commands. As I learn Your righteous regulations, I will thank You by living as I should! I will obey Your decrees. He is the Lord your God. His justice is seen throughout the land. He always stands by HIs covenant-the commitment He made to a thousand generations.” (vv 7-7, NLT)

For some reason, I am unable to access my webpage on my MacBook laptop. I called customer support and they said that the problem wasn’t on their end. It had to be an ISP or internet issue. I am able to access all other websites with no problem. However, I am able to access my webpage on my husband’s HP computer. Granted, I like my Mac better, but at least I can resume my blogs.

Was it possible that the Devil was trying to block me from posting God’s Word? If so, then then God presented me with a way to continue my posts and resume with selections from Psalm 104.

“Let all that I am praise the Lord. O Lord, my God, how great You are! You are robed with honor and majesty. You are dressed in a robe of light. You stretch out the starry curtain of the heavens; You lay out the rafters of Your home in the rain clouds. You make the clouds Your chariot; You ride upon the wings of the wind. You placed the world on its foundation so it would never be moved. (vv 1-5) NLT

“You make springs pour water into the ravines, so streams gush down from the mountains. They provide water for all the animals, and the wild donkeys quench their thirst. The birds nest besides the streams and sing among the branches of the trees. You send rain on the mountains from Your heavenly home, and You fill the earth with the fruit of Your labor. You cause grass to grow for the livestock and plants for people to use. You allow them to produce food from the earth- wine to make them glad, olive oil to soothe their skin, and bread to give them strength.” (vv 10-15) NLT

“O Lord, what a variety of things You have made! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of creatures. Here is the ocean, vast and wide, teeming with life of every kind, both large and small. (vv 25-25) NLT

“May the glory of the Lord continue forever! The Lord takes pleasure in all that He has made! The earth trembles at His glance; the mountains smoke at His touch.

I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. I will praise Him to my last breath! May all my thoughts be pleasing to Him, for I rejoice in the Lord. Let all sinners vanish from the face of the earth. Let the wicked disappear forever.

Let all that I am praise the Lord

“Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise His holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things He does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s! The Lord gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly.

He revealed His character to Moses and HIs deeds to the people of Israel. The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever. He does not punish us of all our sins; He does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve. For His unfailing loved toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.

The Lord is like a father to His children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. For He knows how weak we are; He remembers we are only dust. Our days on earth are like grass; like wildflowers, we bloom and die. The wind blows and we are gone – as though we had never been here. But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear Him. His salvation extends to the children’s children, of those who are faithful to His covenant, of those who obey His commandments! The Lord has made the heavens His throne; from there He rules over everything.

Praise the Lord, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out His plans, listening for each of His commands. Yes, praise the Lord, you armies of angels who serve Him and do His will! Praise the Lord, everything He has created, everything in all His kingdom.
