Scripture for Controlling Anger

“Don’t sin by letting anger control you. Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.” (Ephesians 4:26-27, NLT)

“Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.” (James 1:19, NLT)

Comfort in Times of Uncertainty

“‘Comfort, comfort my people,’ says your God. Yes, the Sovereign Lord is coming in power. He will rule with a powerful arm. See, He brings His reward to them as holding them close to His heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.” (Isaiah 40:1, 10-11, NLT)

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When we are troubled, we will be able to give them he same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with His comfort though Christ” (2 Corinthians 1:3-5, NLT)

The Ukraine Flag

The Ukraine crisis has impacted the entire world. Nations have joined together in support of the Ukraine people’s bravery and patriotism. Many of us have ties to someone in that country.

While looking for a suitable picture of the Ukraine flag to print. I was interested in what the colors represent. Blue over yellow. Blue represents the blue skies. and stands for freedom. Yellow is the color of wheat. A simple translation is “Freedom over Bread”. Further research includes other interpretations such as “Peace and Prosperity” and “Calm and Joy.”

“Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9, NLT)

Jesus is Coming, Part II

“‘I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the source of David and the heir to his throne. I am the bright and morning star.’

The Spirit and bride say, ‘Come.’ Let anyone who hears this say, ‘Come.’ Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life. And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.

He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon!’

Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people.” (Revelation 22: vv. 16-21, NLT)

Jesus is Coming, Part I

“‘Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written in this book.’

I John, am the one who heard and saw all these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me. But he said,’No, don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers the prophets, as well as all who obey what is written this in this book. Worship only God!’

Then he instructed me, ‘Do not seal up the prophetic words in this book, for a time is near. Let the one who is doing harm continue to do harm; let the one who is vile continue to be vile; let the one who is righteous continue to live righteously; let the One who is holy continue to be Holy.’

‘Look, I am coming soon, bringing My reward with me to repay people according to their deeds. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the last, the Beginning and the End.’

Blessed are those who wash their robes. They will be permitted to enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life. Outside the city are the dogs – the sorcery, the sexually immoral, the murders, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie. (Revelation 22: vv. 1-15, NLT)
