Scripture on Patience

“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” (Galatians 5:22-23, NLT)

“We also pray that you will be strengthened with His glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need.” (Colossians 1:11, NLT)

Hannah’s Prayer of Praise

” Then Hannah prayed:

My heart rejoices in the Lord! The Lord has made me strong! Now I have an answer for my enemies; I rejoice because you rescued me.No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides You; there is no Rock like our God.

Stop acting so proud and haughty! Don’t speak with such arrogance! For the Lord is a God who knows what you have done; He will judge your actions.

The bow of the mighty is now broken, and those who stumbled are now strong. Those who were well fed are now starving, and those who were starving are now full. The childless woman now has seven children, and the woman with many children wastes away.

The Lord gives both death and life; He brings some down to the grave but raises others up. The Lord makes some poor and other rich; He brings some down and lifts others up. He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing then in seats of honor. For all the earth is the Lords’ and He has set the world in order.

He will protect His faithful ones, but the wicked will disappear in darkness. No one will succeed by strength alone. Those who fight against the Lord will be shattered. He thunders against them from heaven; the Lord judges throughout the earth. He give power to his king; he increased strength of His anointed one.” 1 Samuel 2: 1-10, NLT)

Scripture on the Kingdom of Heaven

“‘Jesus called a small child over to him and put the child among them. Then he said,’I assure you, unless you turn from your sins and become as little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.'” (Matthew 18:2-3, NLT)

“Jesus replied, ‘I assure you, unless you are born again, you can never see the Kingdom of God.'” (John 3:3, NLT)

Scripture on Fulfillment

“I have seen You in Your sanctuary and gazed upon Your power and glory. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise You as long as I live, lifting up my hands to You in prayer. You satisfy me more than the reishest feast. I will praise You with songs of joy.” (Psalm 63:2-5, NLT)

[Jesus said] “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ For these things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your Heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” (Matthew 6:31-34, NLT)

Scripture on Eternal Rewards

“Then at last everyone will say,’There truly is a reward for those who live for God; surely there is a God who judges justly here on earth.'”(Psalm 58:11, NLT)

[Jesus said]”Love your enemies! Do good to them! Lend to them! And don’t be concerned that they might not repay. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for He is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.” (Luke 6:35, NLT)

Scripture on Devotion to God

“And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice – the kind that He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” (Romans 12:1-2, NLT)

Scripture on Encouragement

“O Jacob, how can you say the Lord does to see your troubles? O Israel, how can you say God ignores your rights? Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of His understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not feel faint.” (Isaiah 40: 27-31, NLT)

“Such things were written in Scripture long ago to each us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. (Romans 15:4, NNLT)

Scripture on Disobedience

“Help me abandon my shameful ways; for Your regulations are good. I long to obey your commandments! Renew my life with Your goodness.” (Psalm 119:39-40, NLT)

“Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin.”
(Romans 4:7-8, NLT)
