Scriptures in Times of Need

The following article was given to me years ago by a dear friend.

“There is nothing like the written word of God.” 2 Timothy 3:16

You say, “It’s impossible”  
He says, “With Me all things are possible.” (Luke 18:27)

You say, “I’m exhausted.”                 
 He says, “Wait on Me. I’ll renew your strength.” (Isa.40:31)

You say, “I can’t go on.”                     |
He says, “My grace is sufficient for you.” (2 Cor. 12:9)

You say, “I don’t know what to do.”  
He says, “I’ll direct you. (Proverbs 3:5)

You say, “I can’t do it.”                       
He says, “You can do all things through Me.” (Phil 4:13)

You say, “It’s not worth it.”                
He says, “It will be – just keep going.” (Galatians 6:9)

You say, “I can’t forgive myself.”        
He says, “You can – because I have.” (Ephesians 4:32)

You say, “I can’t make ends meet.”    
He says, “I’ll supply all your needs.” (Philippians 4:19)

You say, “I can’t handle this.”             
He says, “Give it to Me, I’ll carry it for you.” (Psalm 52:22)

You say, “I don’t have enough faith.”
He says, I’ll give you faith.” (Romans 12:3)

You say, “I’m not smart enough.:”      
He says, “I’ll give you wisdom.” (1 Corinthians 1:30)

You say, “I’m all alone.”                      
He says, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” (Heb 13:5)

You say, “I’m afraid.”                          
He says, “I didn’t give you a spirit of fear, but of… power.
