But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. I praise God for what He has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

I praise God for what He has promised; yes, I praise the Lord for what He has promised; yes I praise the Lord for what He has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do for me?

I will fulfill my vows to you, O God, and will offer a sacrifice of thanks for Your help. For You have rescued me from death; you have kept my feet from slipping. So now I can walk in your presence, O For, in your life-giving light.” (Psalm 56: 1-4, 10-13, NLT)

“Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast at the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the might mountains; Your justice is like the ocean depths. You care for people and animals alike. How precious is your failing love, O God. All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of Your wings. You feed them fro the abundance of Your own house, letting them drink from Your river of delights. For you are the fountain of life, the light by which we see.

Pour out Your unfailing love on those who love You; give justice to those with honest hearts. Don’t let the proud trample me or the wicked push people around. Look! Those who do evil have fallen! They are thrown down, never to riser again.” (Psalm 36: 5-12, NLT)
