“Praise the Lord!

Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heaven! Praise Him for His mighty works; praise His unequaled greatness! Praise Him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise Him with the lyre and harp! Praise Him with. the tambourine and dancing; Praise Him with strings and flutes! Praise Him with a clash of cymbals; praise Him with loud banging camels. Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!

Psalm 148, Part 2

“Praise the Lord from the earth, you creatures of the ocean depths, fire and hail, snow and clouds, wind and weather that obey Him, mountains and hills, fruit trees and all cedars, wild animal and livestock, small scurrying animals and birds, kings of the earth and all people, rulers and judges of the earth, young men and young women, old men and children.

Let them all praise the name of the Lord. For His name is very great; His glory towers over the earth and heaven! He has made His people strong – the people of Israel who are close to Him.

“Praise the Lord!”

Praise the Lord from the heavens! Praise Him from the skies! Praise Him, all His angels! Praise Him all the armies of heaven!

Praise Him , sun and moon! Praise Him, all you twinkling stars! Praise Him, skies above! Praise Him, vapors high above the clouds! Let every created thing give praise to the Lord, for He issued the command, and they came into being. He set them in place forever and ever. His decree will never be revoked.” (vv. 1-5, NLT)

“Sing our your thanks to the Lord; sing praises to our God with a harp. He covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, and makes grass grow in the mountain pastures. He give food to the wild animals and feeds the young ravens when they cry. He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or human might. “He sends peace across Your nation and satisfies your hunger with the finest wheat. He sends His orders to the world – how swiftly His word flies! Psalm 146

“Praise the Lord!

Let all that I am praise the Lord. I will praise the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath.

Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. When they breathe their last. they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them.

But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper. He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps His promises forever. He gives justice to the oppressed and for to the hungry. The Lord frees the prisoners. The lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked.

The Lord will reign forever. He will be you God, O Jerusalem, throughout the generations.

Psalm 145 Part 2


“For Your Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations .

The Lord keeps His promises; He is gracious in all He does. The Lord helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads. The eyes of all look to You in hope; You give then their food as they need it. when you open Your hand, You satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in everything He does; He is filled with kindness. The Lord is close to all who call on Him, yes, to all who call on Him in truth. The grants the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cries for help and rescues them. The Lord protects all those who love Him, but He destroys the wicked.

I will praise the Lord, and may everyone on earth bless His holy name forever and ever.” (vv. 13-21, NLT)

Psalm 145, Part 1

A psalm of praise of David.

“I will exalt You, my God and King, and will praise Your name forever and ever. I will praise You every day; yes, I will praise You forever. Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure His greatness.

Let each generation tell it children of Your mighty acts; let them proclaim Your power. I will meditate on Your. majestic, glorious splendor and Your wonderful miracles. Your awe-inspiring deed will be on every tongue; I will proclaim Your greatness. Everyone will share the story of Your wonderful goodness; they will sing with joy about Your righteousness.

“The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. The Lord is good to everyone. He shows compassion on all His creation. All of your works will thank you, Lord, and Your faithful followers will praise You. They will speak of the glory of Your kingdom; they will give examples of Your power. A psalm of David

“Hear my Prayer, O Lord; listen to my plea! Answer me because You are faithful and righteous. Don’t put your servant on trial, for no one is is innocent before You.” (vv. 1-2, NLT)

“I am losing all hope; I am paralyzed with fear. I remember the days of old. I ponder all Your great works. and think about what You have done. I lift my hands to You in prayer, I thirst for You as parched land thirst for rain.

Come quickly, Lord, and answer me, for my depression deepens. Don’t turn away from me, or I will die. Let me hear of Your unfailing love each morning for I am trusting in You. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to You.” (vv. 4-8 NLT)

“Teach me to do Your will, for Your are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. For the glory of Your name, O Lord, perceive my life. Because of You faithfulness, bring me out of this distress.” (vv. 10-12, NLT)

Psalm 142

As psalm of David, regarding his experience in the cave. A prayer.

“I cry out to the Lord; I plead for the Lord’s mercy. I pour out my complaints before Him and tell Him my troubles. When I am overwhelmed, You alone know the way I should turn.

Wherever I go, my enemies have set traps for me. I look for someone to come and help me, but no one give me a passing thought! No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me.

Then I pray to You O Lord, I say,’You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life. Hear my cry, for I am very low. Rescue me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me. Bring me out of prison so I can thank you. The godly will crowd around me, for You are good to me.'”

Psalm 139, Part 3

“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so complex! you workmanship is marvelous – how well I know it. You watched me as I was being form in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

How precious are You thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!” (vv. 13-18, NLT)
