And furthermore, it is not angels who will control the future world we are talking about. For in one place the Scriptures say,

“What are mere mortals that You should think about them, or a Son of Man that You should care for Him?
Yet You made them only a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.
You have given them authority over all things.”

Not when it says “all things” it means nothing is left out. But we have not yet seen all the things put under their authority. What we do see is Jesus, who was given a position “a little lower than the angels”, and because He suffered death for us, He is now “crowned with glory and honor”. Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone. God, for whom and through whom everything was made, chose to bring many children up to glory. And it was only right that He should make Jesus, through His suffering, a perfect leader, fit to bring them into their salvation.

So now Jesus and the ones He makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus not ashamed to call them His brothers and sisters. (vv. 5-11-NLT)

So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. For the message God delivered through angels has always stood firm, and every violation of the law and every act of disobedience was punished. So what makes us think we can escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard Him speak? And God confirmed the message by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever He chose. (vv. 1-4, NLT)

For God never said to any angel what he said to Jesus: “You are My Son. Today I have become your Father.”

God also said,
“I will be His Father and He will be My Son.”

And when He brought His supreme Son into the world, God said,
“Let all of God’s angels worship Him.”

Regarding the angels, He says,
“He sends His angels into the winds, His servants like flames of fire.”

But to the Son, He says,
“Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. You rule with a scepter of justice. You love justice and hat evil. There fore, O God, , your God has anointed You, pouring out the oil of joy on You more than anyone else.”

He also says to the Son,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with Your hands. They will perish, but You will remain forever. They will wear out like old clothing. You will fold them up like a cloak and discard then like old clothing. But You are always the same; you will live forever. “

And God never said to any of the angels,
“Sit in the place of honor at My right hand until I humble Your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.”

Therefore, angels are only servants – spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation. (vv. 5-14, NLT)

Long ago God spoke may times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, He has spoken to us through His Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son He created the universe. The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and He sustains everything by the mighty power of His command. When He had cleansed us from our sins, He sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave Him is greater than their names. (vv. 1-4, NLT)

Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good. They must not slander anyone and must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentile and show true humility to everyone.

Once, we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other.

But – “When God our Savior revealed His kindness and love, He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit upon us. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of His grace, He declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life. This is a trustworthy saying, and I want you to insist on these teachings so that all who trust in God will devote themselves to doing good. These teachings are good and beneficial for everyone. (vv. 1-8, NLT)

For the grace of God has been revealed, bring salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, while we look forward to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed. He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds. You must teach these things and encourage the believers to do them. You have the authority to correct them when necessary, so don’t let anyone disregard what you say. (vv. 11-15, NLT)

I solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when He appears to set up His Kingdom: Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. The will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.

But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry our the ministry God has given you. (vv. 1-5, NLT)

But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you. You have been taught the Holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and us useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to doe every good work. (vv. 14-17, NLT)

You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful, proud, scoffing at god, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that! (vv. 1-5, NLT)

Again I say, don’t get involved in ignorant arguments that only starts fights.

A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with the most difficult people. Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts and they will learn the truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants. (vv. 23-26, NLT)
