Then Moses climbed up the mountain to appear before God. The Lord called to him from the mountain and said, ‘Give these instructions to the family of Jacob; announce it to the descendants of Israel: You have seen what I did to the Egyptians. You know how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. Now if you will obey Me and keep My covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs go Me. Moses told the Lord what the people had said. Then the Lord told Moses, ‘Go down and prepare the people for My arrival. Consecrate them today and tomorrow, and have them wash their clothing. Be sure they are ready on the third day, for on that day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai as the people watch. Mark off a boundary all around the mountains. Warn the people,’Be Careful! Moses led them out from the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. All of Mount Sinai was covered with smoke because the Lord had descended on it The smoke billowed into the sky like smoke from a brick kiln, and the whole mountain shook violently. He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon!’

Then he instructed me, ‘Do not seal up the prophetic words in this book, for a time is near. Let the one who is doing harm continue to do harm; let the one who is vile continue to be vile; let the one who is righteous continue to live righteously; let the One who is holy continue to be Holy.’

‘Look, I am coming soon, bringing My reward with me to repay people according to their deeds. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the last, the Beginning and the End.’

Blessed are those who wash their robes. They will be permitted to enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life. Outside the city are the dogs – the sorcery, the sexually immoral, the murders, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie. (Revelation 22: vv. 1-15, NLT)

“Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. It flowed down the center of the Main Street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations.

No longer will there be a curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and His servants will worship Him. And they will see His face, and His name will be written on their foreheads. And there will be no more night there – no need for lamps or sun – for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever.

Then the angel said to me, Everything you have heard and seen is trustworthy and true. The Lord God who inspires His prophets has sent His angel to tell His servants what will happen soon.'” (Revelation 12: vv. 1-6, NLT)

“I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are in the temple. And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light. The nations will walk in light, and the kings of the world will enter the city its in all their glory. Its gates will never be closed at the end of the day because there is no night there. And all the nations will bring their glory and honor into the city. Nothing evil will be allowed to enter no anyone who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty – but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. (Revelation 21: vv. 22-27, NLT)
